Kitchen Remodeling in Northeast Oklahoma
Full Kitchen Renovations Designed in 3D and Built to Last
The kitchen is the room that gets used the hardest and judged the most. If yours has outdated cabinets, worn countertops, bad lighting, and a layout that fights you every time you cook, it’s time. Shea Construction remodels kitchens from top to bottom across the Green Country region. We gut the space, redesign it in 3D, and build it back with quality materials, skilled trades, and finishes you’ll be proud of for years.
Kitchen Renovation for Northeast Oklahoma Homeowners
Kitchen remodels consistently rank as the most impactful renovation a homeowner can do, both for daily quality of life and for property value. In Oklahoma, a mid-range kitchen remodel typically costs $15,000 to $50,000. A full custom renovation with high-end finishes, layout changes, and premium appliances can range from $60,000 to $100,000 or more. Most homeowners recoup 60% to 75% of the project cost at resale, which makes a kitchen remodel one of the strongest investments you can make in your home.

Shea Construction handles kitchen remodels across more than 30 cities in Northeast Oklahoma. We don’t just swap countertops and call it done. We gut kitchens top to bottom when that’s what the space needs. Demolition, framing changes, electrical rewiring, plumbing relocation, cabinet installation, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, paint, and trim. Every trade is managed by one team under one contract.

Every kitchen remodel starts with a 3D rendering through Plan 7 Architect Pro. You see your new layout, cabinet configuration, countertop materials, backsplash, island design, and lighting placement on screen before we start demolition. You approve the design. We build it.
Signs Your Kitchen Needs a Remodel
The Layout Fights You Every Time You Cook
If you’re constantly walking around an island that’s too big, reaching over appliances that are in the wrong spot, or tripping over a trash can because there’s nowhere else to put it, the layout is the problem. A kitchen remodel can reconfigure the work triangle, add counter space, and fix the flow so the room works with you instead of against you.
Cabinets Are Falling Apart or Don't Hold What You Need
Doors that won’t close, shelves that sag, drawers that stick, and zero organization. Cabinets take the most daily abuse in any room, and they show it. If they’re beyond a fresh coat of paint, replacement with modern cabinetry gives you better storage, cleaner lines, and hardware that actually works.
Countertops Are Stained, Chipped, or Outdated
Laminate from the 1990s. Tile with cracked grout. Butcher block that’s warped and stained. Countertops are the work surface of the kitchen, and when they’re damaged or worn, they drag the entire room down. Replacing them with quartz, granite, or solid surface materials changes the look and function of the kitchen immediately.
Electrical and Lighting Can't Keep Up
Not enough outlets. No under-cabinet lighting. A single overhead fixture that leaves the counters in shadow. Kitchens built more than 15 years ago rarely have the electrical capacity for modern appliances, lighting, and charging needs. A remodel brings the electrical up to current code and adds the lighting where you actually need it.
You're Embarrassed to Have People Over
Kitchens are where people gather. If yours makes you apologize before guests walk in, that’s a clear signal. A remodeled kitchen becomes the room you want to show off, not the one you want to hide.
Types of Kitchen Remodels We Handle
Everything comes out. Cabinets, countertops, flooring, backsplash, lighting, appliances, and sometimes walls. We strip the kitchen to the studs and rebuild it from scratch with new everything. This is the right approach when the layout needs to change, the plumbing or electrical is outdated, or the existing finishes are beyond saving.
New cabinets and countertops without a full gut. This mid-range remodel keeps the existing layout and plumbing in place but replaces the two elements that have the biggest visual and functional impact. Custom, semi-custom, and stock cabinet options are all available, depending on budget.
Removing walls to create an open floor plan, relocating the stove or refrigerator, adding an island, or extending the kitchen into an adjacent dining room. Layout changes involve structural assessment, potential load-bearing wall modification, and updated mechanical routing. We handle the engineering and the build.
For kitchens that don’t need a gut renovation but need specific upgrades. New backsplash, updated lighting, fresh flooring, new hardware, or a countertop swap. These projects run on a shorter timeline and a smaller budget while still making a visible difference in how the room looks and functions.
Benefits of a Professional Kitchen Remodel
Design Your Kitchen in 3D Before We Touch a Wall
Using Plan 7 Architect Pro, we create a full 3D rendering of your new kitchen. You see cabinet placement, countertop material, island layout, backsplash design, and lighting on screen. You rotate the view, swap options, and approve the final design before demolition starts. No other kitchen remodeling contractor in Northeast Oklahoma offers this.
Demolition Through Final Detail, One Contractor
A kitchen remodel touches every trade: framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, paint, and trim. Hiring separate contractors for each phase is how timelines blow up, and details get missed. Shea Construction manages every trade under one schedule with one project manager keeping the work on track.
Built With Products From Brands That Stand Behind Their Work
We partner with Schluter for tile and waterproofing systems, Kohler and Delta for plumbing fixtures, and Floor & Decor and Carpet Mill for flooring materials. Cabinet options range from stock to semi-custom to fully custom, depending on your design and budget. We help you choose materials that match what you want and what the kitchen needs to handle.
One of the Highest-ROI Remodeling Projects You Can Do
Kitchen remodels typically return 60% to 75% of the project cost at resale. Beyond the numbers, a remodeled kitchen changes how you use your home every single day. It’s one of the few renovations that improve daily life and property value at the same time. Need help with the budget? We offer SweetPay financing for qualified clients.

Related Remodeling Services
Kitchens and bathrooms are the two rooms that change how a home feels the most. If both need work, we can coordinate the projects together to save time and reduce total disruption.
If the kitchen is just the starting point and the rest of the house needs attention too, a whole-home renovation addresses everything at once rather than piecemeal.
If you want new flooring throughout the home to match the updated kitchen, we handle hardwood, tile, LVP, laminate, and carpet installation as a standalone project or as part of a larger remodel.

Kitchen Remodeling Questions
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Oklahoma?
A mid-range kitchen remodel in Oklahoma typically costs $15,000 to $50,000. A full custom renovation with premium finishes, layout changes, and high-end appliances can range from $60,000 to $100,000 or more. The final cost depends on the size of the kitchen, the scope of the work, and the materials you select. We provide a detailed quote after the 3D design phase.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
A mid-range kitchen remodel typically takes 6 to 10 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. A full gut renovation with layout changes can take 8 to 12 weeks or longer. We provide a complete project timeline before demolition starts and give progress updates throughout.
Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?
For most of the project, no. During a gut renovation, the kitchen will be out of commission for the duration of the build. We recommend setting up a temporary kitchen area with a microwave, mini fridge, and basic prep space. We’ll walk through logistics during the planning phase so you can prepare.
Can I keep my existing layout?
Yes. If your layout works but the finishes are worn, a cabinet and countertop replacement keeps the existing plumbing and electrical in place, which reduces cost and shortens the timeline. If the layout doesn’t work, we can reconfigure it with the structural, plumbing, and electrical changes needed.
Do you install cabinets and countertops I've already purchased?
Yes. We install client-supplied materials. If you’ve purchased cabinets, countertops, or flooring on your own, we’ll install them as part of the remodel scope. We can also source everything for you through our manufacturer partnerships if you prefer.
