Construction Services for Northeast Oklahoma Homes and Businesses
The Tulsa metro recorded 2,578 housing starts through September 2025, an 8.3% increase over the prior year. Rogers County and Wagoner County, both bordering our home base in Mayes County, were among the most active areas for new residential permits. Northeast Oklahoma is building, and Shea Construction is here to make sure it’s done right.

We’re a general contractor based in Salina, Oklahoma, serving more than 30 cities across the Green Country region. What sets us apart from other builders in this market: we don’t just frame the shell. We handle the full build, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, siding, windows, flooring, and interior finish. One contractor, one point of contact, one team accountable for the entire project. We use only licensed and insured subcontractors, and we back every job with a 1-year warranty on workmanship.
Our Construction Services
Your floor plan. Your finishes. Your home. We build custom homes from the ground up, including spec homes and semi-custom builds. Every home starts with a 3D rendering so you can walk through the layout and make changes before we pour the foundation. Full mechanical systems included: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, siding, and windows.
Metal frame construction with full residential interiors. We build barndominiums with complete interior finish, not just the shell. That means insulation, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Designed in 3D so you see the full floor plan, living areas, and shop space before we break ground.
Room additions, second-story additions, garage builds, in-law suites, and sunrooms. We match the new construction to your existing home’s structure and finishes so it looks and feels like it was always there. Structural engineering, permits, and full mechanical hookups are all part of the scope.
Workshops, storage buildings, commercial shops, and multi-use metal structures. We work with Wheeler Metals for steel framing and can finish the interior to any spec, from a basic shop to a fully finished workspace with plumbing, electrical, and climate control.
Agricultural storage, equipment shelters, horse barns, and multi-purpose pole structures. Built on post-frame construction with options for concrete flooring, electrical, and interior finish depending on your needs.
Slab foundations for new residential and commercial builds. Pier and beam framing. Structural repairs for settling, cracking, or shifting foundations. We handle the work that everything else sits on, and we do it to code every time.
Not Sure What Construction Service You Need?
Start with what you’re trying to accomplish. We’ll help you figure out the right service, scope, and approach during your free consultation.
You need our custom home building service. We design your floor plan in 3D, create professional blueprints, and build the entire home from foundation to finish. Spec homes and semi-custom options are also available.
A home addition is the answer. Room additions, second stories, garage builds, sunrooms, and in-law suites add square footage to your existing home without the cost and disruption of relocating.
Metal buildings and pole barns cover this. Metal buildings work for workshops, commercial shops, and multi-use structures. Pole barns are ideal for agricultural storage, equipment shelters, and horse barns.
That’s a barndominium. Metal frame on the outside, fully finished residential interior on the inside. We build the shell and handle the complete interior, including all mechanical systems, finishes, and custom layout.
Foundation issues need to be addressed before they get worse. We handle slab repairs, pier and beam structural work, and full foundation pours for new construction. If your floors are uneven, your walls are cracking, or your doors won’t close properly, contact us for an assessment.
Benefits of Working with a Full-Service Construction Contractor
One Team, One Point of Contact
You don’t hire separate contractors for framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and interior finish. Shea Construction manages every phase under one contract with one project manager. That means fewer miscommunications, tighter timelines, and a single team accountable for the entire build.
See It Before We Build It
Every construction project starts with a 3D rendering and professional blueprints through Plan 7 Architect Pro. You approve the design on screen before we order a single material. Changes happen in the design phase, not on the job site, which keeps your budget and timeline intact.
Licensed Subcontractors, Full Insurance, Real Warranty
Oklahoma does not require general contractors to hold a state license, which means many builders in this market operate with minimal oversight. We carry $1M+ in general liability insurance, every subcontractor we use is independently licensed and insured, and we back every project with a 1-year warranty on workmanship.

Built for Northeast Oklahoma Conditions
Green Country weather puts unique demands on construction. High winds, hail, ice storms, expansive clay soils, and seasonal flooding all factor into how a structure should be built. We build for these conditions because we live here and we know what fails when corners get cut.
