Restoration Contractor in Northeast Oklahoma
Storm, Fire, and Water Damage Repair Across Green Country
Restoration Services for Northeast Oklahoma Homes and Businesses
In 2024, Oklahoma led the entire nation with 151 confirmed tornadoes and the third-highest number of hailstorms of any state at 767. It was the most active year for tornadoes in Oklahoma’s history. Oklahoma homeowners now pay an average of $4,651 per year to insure a $300,000 home, more than double the national average. Severe weather isn’t an occasional event here. It’s a recurring reality that every property owner in Northeast Oklahoma plans around.

Shea Construction serves more than 30 cities across the Green Country region and handles restoration for homes and businesses damaged by storms, fire, and water. We are not a mitigation-only company that dries the space and leaves. We are a full-service general contractor who handles the complete rebuild: structural repair, roofing, siding, drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, paint, and finish work. One contractor coordinates every trade from damage assessment through final walkthrough.
We work directly with your insurance carrier. We document the damage, provide a detailed scope for the adjuster, handle supplements when the initial estimate doesn’t cover the full repair, and manage the rebuild once the claim is approved. You deal with one team, not five.
Â
The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office has repeatedly warned homeowners to verify contractors after severe weather, noting that storm-chasing scammers target vulnerable homeowners every season. Shea Construction is based in Salina, Oklahoma. We live here, we’re insured here, and we stand behind our work with a 1-year warranty on workmanship. We don’t show up after a storm and disappear after the check clears.

Our Restoration Services
Hail, wind, tornado, and severe weather damage to roofs, siding, windows, gutters, fascia, fencing, and interior spaces. We handle the full scope: emergency tarping and securing, damage documentation for insurance, adjuster coordination, and complete repair or replacement of every affected component. Oklahoma’s storm season runs from March through November, and we respond to storm damage year-round.
Structural rebuild after fire, smoke, flood, and water damage. We handle the construction side of the restoration: framing repair, drywall replacement, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and all finish work. For homes with both fire and water damage (from firefighting efforts), we coordinate the full rebuild as one project. Insurance coordination included.
Not Sure What Restoration Service You Need?
Start with what happened. We’ll determine the full scope during the assessment.
You need our storm damage repair service. We inspect the roof, siding, windows, gutters, and fascia for damage, document everything for your insurance claim, and handle the full repair or replacement once the claim is approved.
Fire damage restoration covers the structural rebuild after the fire. We handle framing, drywall, flooring, systems, and all finish work. Smoke damage, soot cleanup, and content restoration typically require a mitigation specialist first. We coordinate with your mitigation company and handle the construction rebuild.
Water damage restoration covers the structural rebuild after the water is extracted and the space is dried. Mitigation (water extraction, drying, mold prevention) comes first. We handle the rebuild: subfloor replacement, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and any structural repair needed.
If your insurance has already approved the claim, you need a contractor to execute the scope. We review the approved scope, verify it covers the full extent of the damage, file supplements if it doesn’t, and handle the entire rebuild. We work with all major insurance carriers.
Schedule an assessment. We’ll inspect the property, document the damage, explain what we find, and help you decide whether to file a claim. There’s no cost for the initial damage assessment, and no obligation to proceed.
Benefits of a Full-Service Restoration Contractor
We Rebuild the Structure, Not Just Dry the Space
Many restoration companies specialize in mitigation: water extraction, drying, board-up, and tarp services. That work is critical, but it’s only the first step. Shea Construction is a full-service general contractor that handles the construction rebuild after mitigation is complete. Framing, roofing, siding, drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and every finish detail. When we’re done, the home looks and functions like the damage never happened.
We Work With Your Insurance Carrier
Filing and managing an insurance claim while dealing with property damage is overwhelming. We handle the documentation, provide a detailed scope and estimate for the adjuster, meet with the adjuster on site if needed, and file supplements when the approved scope doesn’t cover the full repair. You deal with us, and we deal with the insurance process.
We Live Here. We Don't Chase Storms.
After every major storm in Oklahoma, out-of-state contractors show up offering fast, cheap repairs. They take deposits, do substandard work, and leave before the problems surface. Shea Construction is headquartered in Salina, Oklahoma. Our phone number doesn’t change after storm season. We’re licensed, insured, and we back every project with a 1-year warranty on workmanship.
Roof, Siding, Interior, and Everything in Between
Storms and fires rarely damage just one thing. The roof, siding, windows, gutters, interior drywall, flooring, and mechanical systems can all be affected. We handle the full scope under one contract with one project manager. You don’t coordinate separate contractors for the roof, the siding, and the interior. One team rebuilds everything.

Restoration Questions
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We work with all major homeowners’ insurance carriers in Oklahoma. We document the damage, provide a scope and estimate for the adjuster, and coordinate the claim process throughout the project. If the initial estimate doesn’t cover the full repair, we file supplements on your behalf.
How quickly can you respond to storm damage?
We respond to storm damage assessments as quickly as possible, including outside normal business hours when conditions are severe. Emergency tarping and board-up services are available to prevent further damage while the claim is processed. Call (918) 944-1263 for immediate assistance.
Do you handle the mitigation (water extraction, drying) or just the rebuild?
We specialize in the construction rebuild. For water extraction, drying, mold remediation, and content pack-out, a dedicated mitigation company typically handles that first phase. Once the space is dried and cleared, we handle the full structural and finish rebuild. We can recommend mitigation partners if you don’t have one.
How do I know if a contractor is legitimate after a storm?
Verify the contractor is based in Oklahoma, carries current general liability insurance ($1M+ is standard), uses licensed and insured subcontractors, and will provide a written scope and warranty before work begins. Shea Construction meets all of these criteria. The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office also maintains a consumer protection hotline at 1-833-681-1895 for checking contractor complaints.
Can I use my restoration contractor for upgrades beyond the original damage?
Yes. Many homeowners use the restoration process as an opportunity to upgrade finishes, change layouts, or add features. If the insurance covers the original scope and you want to upgrade beyond that, we provide pricing for the additional work so you can make an informed decision. We also offer SweetPay financing to cover the gap between insurance coverage and your desired scope.
