Whole Home Renovation in Northeast Oklahoma

Complete House Remodels Managed by One Team

When more than one room needs work, doing it piecemeal costs you more time, more money, and more disruption than handling it all at once. Shea Construction does full-house renovations across the Green Country region. We gut the interior, redesign the layout in 3D, upgrade every system, and rebuild the home from the framing out. One contractor coordinates every trade on one timeline.

Whole-Home Renovation Questions

How much does a whole-home renovation cost in Oklahoma?

Standard whole-home renovations in Oklahoma typically cost $15 to $60 per square foot. A full gut renovation with new mechanical systems and premium finishes ranges from $60 to $150 per square foot. For a 2,000-square-foot home, that’s $30,000 on the low end to $300,000 or more for a complete gut rebuild. We provide a detailed quote after the 3D design phase.

Most whole-home renovations take 3 to 6 months. A full gut renovation on a larger home can take 6 to 12 months, depending on the scope, structural modifications, and weather (if exterior work is involved). We provide a detailed project timeline before construction starts and give regular progress updates throughout.

For most whole-home projects, no. A full gut renovation requires the home to be vacated during construction. If the project is phased, you may be able to live in a finished section while work continues in another area, but this adds complexity and extends the timeline. We discuss living arrangements during the planning phase.

In most cases, renovating is cheaper. A gut renovation at $60 to $150 per square foot costs less than new construction at $100 to $220 per square foot in Oklahoma because the foundation, framing, and utility connections are already in place. The exception is a home with severe structural or foundation damage where repair costs approach or exceed the cost of starting over.

Yes. We offer SweetPay financing for qualified clients. Given the larger scope and cost of whole-home projects, financing can help manage the investment in manageable monthly payments.
