How Shea Construction Got Started
Matthew Mullin spent 20 years working in construction before founding Shea Construction LLC in 2024. In that time, he saw a pattern that frustrated him: homeowners paying for work that wasn’t done right. Projects dragged on for a year or two with no communication. Contractors cut corners, ignored building codes, and left families stuck with the bill.
That’s why Shea Construction exists. We were built on a simple idea: do the job right, finish on time, and communicate every step of the way. No excuses.
Since day one, we’ve completed metal buildings, a church, home additions, full remodels, and custom residential projects across Northeast Oklahoma. Every project reinforced the same thing: when you pair skilled craftsmen with honest communication, good things happen.

Meet Matthew Mullin
Matthew Mullin is the owner and founder of Shea Construction LLC. He brings 20 years of construction experience across residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. He’s framed walls, poured foundations, managed crews, and worked every phase of a build from the ground up.
His goal is straightforward: build a construction company that homeowners and businesses can actually trust. One that shows up, communicates, and delivers quality work on the timeline promised.
Matthew’s long-term vision is to grow Shea Construction into a multi-state operation, proving that there are contractors out there who take pride in their work and refuse to cut corners. That vision starts here in Salina, Oklahoma, and it’s already reaching families and businesses across the Green Country region.
Licenses, Certifications & Partnerships
Oklahoma does not require general contractors to hold a state license, which means many contractors in this market operate with zero oversight. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. We carry proof of general liability insurance ($1M+), and every subcontractor we work with is independently licensed and insured for their trade.
We also back our work with a 1-year warranty on workmanship. If something isn’t right,we come back and fix it.
